chat.deviantart.com/chat/PokeK… is the group's DA chatroom :)

I want to host some roleplays here soon or art contests but we'd need prizes
As a new group, we don't have many members, which is expected but at some point we do have to grow! So I'm issuing a challenge:

For every work of art you draw and submit to the group, you get 3 points. For every friend you invite to the group you get 3 points as well!

The person who wins the most points at by March 7th, will win a free request from me :)
With over 700 pokemon spanning 6 generations, it's awful tough to narrow things down to just one pokemon for your OC. How do you find the perfect Pokemon? Well, here are some tips to get you through.

The first step is to narrow it down. For me, the easiest way to do this is by choosing a type based on your OC. Is your character cool and collected? You might want to go with a water type. Fiesty and Uncontrollable? A fire type may be best for you! Down to earth and simple? Perhaps a ground or grass type. Or, you can choose based on occupation. If your character is a hacker like Kururu, you might want to go for a steel or electric pokemon. If you're a fighter like Giroro, you can choose a fighting or flying type. If your character is an assasin, a dark or ghost type could be the way to go.

Here's a list on pokemon by type from Bulbapedia. Click on the type index on the right. bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wik…

Another way to go is to look at a pokemon's Stats. Which stat describes your OC? If your OC can take a hit, look for a pokemon high in HP and Defense. If your OC is flighty, look for Special Defense and Speed. Stats also represent traits in contests, as follows:

Cool, Spicy - Attack
Beautiful, Dry - Special Attack
Cute, Sweet - Speed
Smart, Bitter - Special Defense
Tough, Sour - Defense

Serebii has a great guide on the top 100 pokemon for each stat. Click on the stat you want at the top. www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/sta…

If you can't locate a type or stat, you can try an egg group as well. Although most Egg Groups co-relate with typing, some are unique. This is a good option if you're trying to find two oc's at once that you ship together. Is your OC fierce and intimidating? Try looking in the Monster egg group. If your OC more of a natural type? Then the Field egg group might be for you.

Look at the Pokedex descriptions of several different pokemon in your selected area once you've narrowed things down. The Pokedex can reveal intresting facts about the personality and behaviour of different species of pokemon. If your oc is greedy, A meowth would be a good option- "It loves anything that shines. It especially adores coins that it picks up and secretly hoards."And if your OC is highly intelligent, you could consider going with an Alakazam-"Its brain can outperform a supercomputer. Its IQ (intelligence quotient) is said to be around 5,000."

Another thing to look at are the physical attributes. Each species has a different height, weight and leveling rate. (Look at leveling rate as how fast they age) This can reflect OC's of varying body types.

Although when you will make your OC into a pokemon, you keep your colour pallet, some people like to choose pokemon that already have a similar colour to their OC. If that's the case you can also look here- bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wik…

I hope this guide helps you to select a pokemon to accurately represent your OC! And remember, this is just a guide, you can pick a pokemon completely randomly if you'd like to!
Please list your suggestions in Pokemon for each member of the Keroro Platoon! I'll put the best suggestions in a poll later ^^

Keep in mind levels, pokedex entries, type, design, and stats of each pokemon!
